Nike was founded on January 25, 1964, as "Blue Ribbon Sports", by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight, and officially became Nike, Inc. on May 30, 1971. Nike’s branding is Inspiration, Innovation, and Empowerment. Nike is well-known for the highly recognized trademarks of "Just Do It" and the Swoosh logo.
BRAND HISTORY - Paola Lenti
Paola Lenti was founded in 1994. Their products are mainly composed of threads that used for rugs. Paola Lenti pays attention to the quality of materials: always looking for a point of contact, a special harmony between colours, signs and shapes. They have experimented on yarns and fabrics; this led to the first outdoor collections that made they known in Italy and in the world.
INSIGHTS
Clean design usually goes with simple logo on the product.
Color for the products are mostly white, grey and ivory.
Also some products use high saturated color.
Style mainly follows nike’s existing product.
DESIGN BRIEF
